Yesterday myself and a friend took a chance on the weather and went for a visit to the Isle of Grain on the tip of East Kent. Its a bit of a bleak place with a huge power station. We managed to get a few good shots I think. We were very surprised to see two great big Water Buffalo in a field though! The last place on earth you would expect to find them. I waited for ages for them to be in just the right spot to get a pleasing image. A very nice pond with Water Lily’s in the foreground. I hope you like those piccys.
There is also a old Fort way out in the estuary which looked interesting. I got my feet covered in mud trying to follow my friend out on the thick muddy shore to get a shot of the spill off from the power station, this water is used for cooling the towers I think? It comes out as a cascading waterfall but I gave up after getting stuck 4 inches deep in mud and nearly losing my sandals!
We was going to explore some more but rain stopped play so we shall have to go back another day and see what else is there to find.
I’ve just finished processing them and also had a play about with a new plugin, a flood filter which is pretty cool.
I hope you enjoy my latest adventure via my images, feel free to leave any comments or to share the images with your friends.
